🗓 Day 1: Arrival in Shimla – Local Sightseeing

Upon arrival at Shimla (by cab from Delhi/Chandigarh/Kalka), check-in to your deluxe hotel and freshen up. After a short rest, begin your local sightseeing tour. Start with a visit to the Indian Institute of Advanced Study, an architectural marvel and former residence of the British Viceroy. Proceed to the Sankat Mochan Temple, a serene Hanuman temple amidst scenic surroundings.

In the afternoon, explore Jakhoo Temple, located on the highest peak of Shimla. A short trek or ropeway ride leads you to this peaceful site surrounded by monkeys and panoramic views. Later, enjoy family time at The Ridge and Mall Road, where you can shop, eat, and soak in the colonial vibes of Shimla. Don’t miss Scandal Point and Christ Church, known for their historic charm.Return to the hotel in the evening, enjoy a warm dinner, and relax overnight.

🗓 Day 2: Kufri Excursion – Departure

After an early breakfast, head for an excursion to Kufri, located just 16 km from Shimla. Kufri is famous for its scenic landscapes and adventure activities. Visit the Himalayan Nature Park, home to rare Himalayan animals and birds, and enjoy a yak or pony ride. Families with children will love the Fun World amusement park. You may also take pictures in traditional Himachali attire available for rent at local stalls.
